Ava V. Marie
Co-Owner, Instructor, Performer
Ava is co-owner of Pynk Portal, a pole instructor and lifelong dancer. She teaches a variety of classes from all levels Spin Pole to Performance Prep, teaching with a sex and body positive lens for students of all levels and backgrounds. When she's not teaching you can find her advocating for local Black SWers and creating performance opportunities through her organization Black Skrippa Brigade.
Gemini Jynxxx
Co-Owner, Instructor, Performer
Gemini is a first-generation Mexican American born & raised in and round Chicago. Co-owner of Pynk Portal, she is a mover, meditator, community member & fell in love with the physical challenge and reward of pole dancing. She has been pole dancing since 2019. Always encouraging mind & body awareness and assists her students in building their confidence and strength one class at a time.
Blue Butterfly Chase
Instructor, Performer
Blue Butterfly Chase is a Chicago native, pole dancing powerhouse, exotic dancer, pole instructor, and contortionist. Known for her dynamic club style and her sexy flexy flows; she travels the world sharing her love for dance with everyone. Dancerella
Instructor, Performer
Dancerella teaches beginners pole and twerk choreo as well as chair dance classes. Her classes are open for all genders, body types, and students of all levels. She advocates heavily for dancers who don’t fit the “typical” dancer body type as she believes everybody is a pole body. When she’s not teaching you can find her performing burlesque and pole on various stages around Chicago.
Kimbo
Instructor, Performer
Kimbo has been a Pole and Aerial Hoop Instructor for 12 years and has trained in over 25 pole studios around the world. She has competed internationally and won first place at the 2017 Gateway St. Louis Pole Sport Organization (PSO) Competition. Kimbo has been featured as a Pole Dancer in shows such as Chicago PD (NBC), Southside (HBOMAX), and at Snoop Dogg’s Concerts. She is now the President of Kimbology Inc., hosts her own Podcast, and is an independent Pole Instructor at Pynk Portal Pole Sanctuary.
LoCa
Instructor, Performer
Lo Ca is a Chicago-based burlesque performer, instructor, choreographer, and producer. She is the founder of the Windy City Witches (@windycitywitches), where she goes by Stella Mortadella on stage. She has taught hundreds of students all over the world, through her Burlesque Babes performance series, her specialty workshops, and her signature seasonal class, Witch Shit.
Saira Sol
Instructor, Performer
Saira Sol (they/them) is a queer Latine dancer, instructor, and performer born and raised in Chicago. They began dancing as a child and have spent their life exploring a wide range of movement practices, dance styles and aerial arts. As an instructor, Saira encourages students to explore their bodies with curiosity and compassion. They emphasize strength-building and foundational technique while guiding students to listen deeply to their somatic impulses and develop a movement vocabulary unique to their own bodies.
Sydney
Instructor, Performer
Sydney (they/she) is a lifelong dancer and performer who hopes to offer engaging, restorative, and fun classes at Pynk Portal Pole. They hope to draw on training in a variety of dance styles to develop mobility and connections through movement and community. Beyond dance, Sydney is currently a student and works at local nonprofits.

They value authenticity, both in quality of movement & personality. Outside of the studio, they’re a sex worker and artist whose projects focus on the intersection of sex work & activism & why our visibility is valuable to the world.

Mala Mía
Mala Mía (she/they/he) is a queer Puerto Rican dancer, instructor, producer & performer. They've been teaching pole for 5 years & currently produce Pole Night, a monthly show where they focus on merging communities while prioritizing $ex workers & people of color. In 2025, they started hosting a Pole Retreat in Puerto Rico. As a performer, you can find them in various venues throughout Chicago. Mala has been a $ex worker of various mediums & uses their platforms to invite other $ex workers into spaces that often forgets them.

Roxxie
Roxxie (she/we) is a stripper by trade, pole instructor, performer, Pilates teacher & teacher trainer, and owner at CoreBound Pilates. Her mission is to amplify $W voices and use her platform/space to further the $ex Worker rights movement. She is currently coproducing Indu$try - a community fundraiser designed to unite the larger pole & $W communities towards the ultimate goal of passing the Keep Sex Workers Safe Act, which proposes full decriminalization of $W in IL.

Wolfie J is a Chicago based artist, pole dancer, & stripper. They have been pole dancing for six years as well as teaching for five. Their signature style always includes showstopping kips, flips, and drops leaving their audiences always wanting more. They are also a local actor and circus artist in the Chicago scene which feeds into their pole performances and aesthetic.
