Our Space.
Located in the heart of the vibrant Mexican neighborhood of little village in a building that was built over 100 years ago these walls have seen very many stories. Our space started as a small grocery store and has since transitioned from an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting place to a clinic for children with developmental delays to a space built by us for us.
At the Pynk Portal Pole Sanctuary, we work hard to provide a safe space to explore movement and create community. Our goal is to expand into a community center within one of the most abandoned communities in Chicago, counteracting the chaos created by our current administration.
Pynk Portal strives to be a sanctuary for all marginalized communities. In these walls we explore movement, shamelessly exist, and encourage the most authentic expression of self.
